THE UNFINISHED BEING
A simple curved line, unbroken, evokes the profile of an unfinished being—a nod to the subconscious, to the body and soul that appear uniform and balanced, yet remain mystical and complex.
-The unachieved being. 2015. Steel, rust patina. 250x50x1.5cm. Unique piece. Private collection.
Read!
A simple line suggests the profile of a two-dimensional book, unfinished, encouraging the audience to interpret and “complete” the work. It is a nod to the subconscious. The work does not end with mere observation; rather, it grows with it.
-Read! 2016. Corten steel, rust patina. 45x30x0.5cm. Unique piece. Private collection.
Loup-ne
This piece evokes a full moon and the howl of a wolf. Its title, LOUP-NE, is a French play on words combining ‘loup’ (wolf) and ‘lune’ (moon), just as the work itself combines a rusted steel plate with polished metal, creating a striking natural contrast.
-Loup.-ne. 2025. Steel, rust patina. 65cm diameter. Unique piece. Private collection.
Toro Bravo
A simple, seemingly fragile line reflects all the strength of a fighting bull. The rust patinas were intentionally initiated, but it is nature—water, light, and air—that truly shaped them. Humility!
-Toro. 2025. Corten steel, rust patina. 50x50x0.3cm. Unique piece. Private collection.
HOMMAGE A MAGRITTE
In a tribute to Magritte’s enigmatic world, this steel sculpture subtly integrates his signature motifs: a bowler hat and a bow tie, crafted to evoke his unique blend of the ordinary and the surreal.
-Hommage a Magritte. 2018. Corten steel, rust patina. 130x30cmx8 Ø. Unique piece. Private collection.
FACE2FACE
This rusted steel sculpture plays with trompe-l’œil. The void, more than the form, reveals the essential: two faces, face to face. Here, absence becomes presence.
Face2Face, 2025. Corten steel, rust patina. 50x20x0.8 cm
